Back in the pre-digital SLR era, shooting at night was hard. You only had a limited number of low light films to choose from, and they all had their drawbacks. I'd never been to New York before. But I had always heard about the bright lights. I packed two rolls of Fuji 800 NPZ and rolled the dice. I was so pumped that it worked.
As I've reworked this site and this blog I've had a chance to look at a lot of old images. This seems to be the only time I shot night cityscapes. I really should do it more often.
